Welcome back our dear friends. Today we are going to write about the kitchen area for Café Eclipse. This is a small galley kitchen area. It will not be a full kitchen. There is a door way into the café area and the other side leads into the hallway. We will cordon-off where the kitchen ends and the hallway begins.
The walls started off a pale yellow with white trim and molding and there was only a subfloor in this area as well. There are also 4 windows in this area and it has recessed lighting. We were also left with a mess of wires from the law office that was here before us.
This room was also a catch-all for a while. We painted the walls using Valspar 4000 Eggshell Finish Paint in Clay Angel. The trim, molding, and window frames have been painted with Valspar 4000 Semo-Gloss Finish in White. The ceiling and the recessed lighting covers have been painted using a flat ceiling paint in white.
We started acquiring the equipment needed to complete the kitchen. We brought in a refrigerator, a 3-comp sink, a hand washing sink, a convection oven, a backsplash (Broan Universal Backsplash Plate in White), added a couple of wall hanging shelves, a couple of rack shelves, and cookware.
The flooring we used is Duralux Performance Waterproof Luxury Vinyl in Auburn Acacia. The 3-comp sink has given us the most trouble in this room, but we were determined not to let it win! There is a lot of clean up still to do, but that is getting done as we write this blog. We will leave you here at this point. We know that this is a short blog; however, we have 3 more blogs to write before we have our soft opening.
We thank you for taking the time to follow our journey. Thank you, Collierville, our friends, our family, and our employees for your time, support, and your love! Please like and follow us on our social media for other updates.
